EC Logistik
EC Logistik is a logistic full-service supplier focussing on food and foodstuffs logistics. The business was founded in 1998 and has been a part of the Rail Cargo Austria group since 2001.
EC Logistik has been a market leader in terms of the distribution of foodstuffs in Austria for years. Modern and functional logistics centres in Wels and Linz are the heart of the logistics chain, from the producer to the customer. Besides these conventional high-bay warehouses, EC Logistik has temperature controlled warehousing and transshipment areas in the range of 12 to 15°C.
The main characteristic of the business is the national distribution of goods using environmentally-friendly rail transport. Both locations have a roofed railway siding and truck docks in order to make the handling as efficient as possible for the customer.
Whether it be special insulating wagons or modern, covered sliding door wagons, EC Logistik represents quality in the entire supply chain. This applies to the handling of goods, the environmentally-friendly overnight transport by rail as well as to the direct delivery into existing railway sidings of major customers or the final leg of journey by cooling truck just in time to the customer. The permanent improvement of the services in warehousing and transport is self-evident. Thanks to the use of special software, EC Logistik can monitor all processes 24/7 and is able to flexibly meet customer requirements.
