ÖKOMBI
ÖKOMBI is a nationally and internationally active operator in combined accompanying transport and the largest provider of the “rolling road” (ROLA) in Europe.
With this specialist transport system, entire trucks or trailer trucks including drivers can cover certain parts of their route on environmentally-friendly railway tracks. This intelligent combination of rail and road reduces road traffic and strain on the environment and has many advantages for the customers.
On a European level, ÖKOMBI works closely together with the partner companies in the International Union of combined Road-Rail Transport Companies (UIRR, Union Internationale des societés de transport combiné Rail-Route). ÖKOMBI has been a subsidiary of Rail Cargo Austria since 2005.
