Wagon status information
Since 1 January 2005, Rail Cargo Austria provides wagon owners and customers nominated by wagon owners with a new type of wagon status information. The wagon status information will be transmitted to you via email as Excel file or if you have an EDI interface in flat file format within the time slots and for the wagons on the ÖBB network specified by you (Rail Cargo Austria must be the carrier).
This wagon status information is fed into Rail Cargo Austria’s wagon database for international data exchange. This results in shorter border stopping times in international transports.
Railway-owned wagons are excluded from the transmission of status information
to customers. In these cases, we can, however, offer the RailGate e-service to
all e-frachtbrief@ customers.
