Transporting timber from the Ural Mountains to the Mediterranean
Attractive express freight trains guarantee that your goods are carried quickly, safely and to high quality standards. In cooperation with our subsidiaries and partners we consolidate goods flows to make up direct block trains to the most important business hubs of Southern and Eastern Europe including Southern Italy (Holz-Express), Greece, Turkey, Bosnia- Herzegovina (Corridor X) or to the port of Koper (Koper-Express).
Together with our partners from the forest, wood and paper industry we permanently elaborate customized logistics and transport solutions.
Tailor-made equipment
The latest technical innovation, WoodRailer, can be used for log wood, timber
as well as container transports. The innovative ingenuity of Rail Cargo Austria
is highlighted by the "Rohholzbulle“ (Rnooss-uz) wagon.
