Rail Cargo Austria offers innovative quality trains for transports to and from Italy. Our railway-oriented logistics solutions allow distribution up to the end customer. In addition, Rail Cargo Austria also offers customised single wagon and block train solutions.
Rail Cargo Austria bundles the cargo of single wagon traffic in Villach Süd and transports it in direct trains to the different distribution platforms in Italy. From the respective receiver destination delivery to the surrounding regions is made in line with demand. The shuttle concept also allows transporting goods from Italy to Austria and beyond.
Friuli Shuttle – 3 times daily to Osoppo and Udine
Block trains are operated to Osoppo and Udine 3 times daily – with the exception of Sundays. The individual distribution up to the end customer in the region of Friuli-Venezia Giulia completes the service offer.
Veneto Shuttle – 4 times weekly to Padova
From Padova deliveries are made to the consignees in the regions of Veneto and Friuli-Venezia Giulia.
Santo Stino Shuttle – daily to Santa Stino and Desio
The single wagons combined to a block train in Villach Süd are transported to Santo Stino di Livenza and on to Desio. We have well equipped special logistics warehouses at both locations.
Emilia Romagna Shuttle – 3 times weekly to Lugo Terminal
On request, Rail Cargo Austria delivers to the regions of Emilia Romagna, Toscana and Sardinia.
Adriatica Shuttle – twice weekly to Pescara
From Pescara deliveries are made to the surrounding regions of Marche, Lazio and Molise.
Tirrenica Shuttle – 5 times weekly to Maddaloni Marcianise
Rail Cargo Austria also provides direct delivery services to the regions of Campania, Apulia, Lazio and Basilicata as well as to the regions of Calabria and Sicily.
