Woodliner is a new product for efficient wood transports. Block trains rather than wagonload transports make up the heart of a novel, intelligent logistics chain. In cooperation with their partners, Rail Cargo Austria and Stinnes AG (ex-DB Cargo) jointly ensure optimum handling of wood transports. A coordination office is responsible for appropriate planning. The transparent logistics chain with optimized interfaces ensures high-quality service levels.

Our service
At present, 84 Woodliner loading sites are available in Germany. These loading sites are expanded on an ongoing basis to meet market demands. Transports are operated as block trains that are planned on the basis of an order and reservation system. The block trains consist of several wagon rakes that are dispatched from one dispatch station. The destination is a joint border-crossing station, which has a distributing function.
