In cooperation with Intercontainer Austria (ICA) and its partners, Rail Cargo Austria operates a pan-European network of block train and single wagon routes that meet al-most any requirement a customer may have.
Combined transports and loading units tailor-made to customer demands allow continental transports to be operated without the need for complicated transhipment procedures and to any European destination even if customers have no direct access to the rail net-work. Rail Cargo Austria provides economically and ecologically optimum logistics and transport chains. To us, European competition is both a challenge and a commitment.

Together with its partners Rail Cargo Austria provides excellent block train systems to operate maritime transports. Our market share of over 80 % in overseas traffic underlines that we have been fully accepted by industry. Austria’s import and export market is focused not only on the country’s classical trade partners, i.e. Germany and Italy.
